The province of Mendoza is located in the west of Argentina, next to the majestic Andes mountain range and Cerro Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the continent. The landscape of this region offers an amazing mixture of deserts, oasis, valleys and mountains.
Mendoza belongs to the region of Cuyo which is historically known thanks to General San Martin, funding father of Argentina’s independence.
The region is also know for its Malbec wine. Grapes are harvested every year ending with the traditional Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia which celebrates the end of the harvest and the development of the wine industry in Argentina.
